What is your rate?
My rate is 175 per clinical hour (50 minutes) and 200 per clinical hour for couples.
What happens in the first session?
You have made the session for a reason. We begin with discussing what has brought you into counselling. Whatever issue you identify as the most important to explore is the right issue to begin with. If you want to see if we can work well together before scheduling a session, I'm happy to schedule a 20 minute phone call with you at no cost to yourself. If this the first time we are meeting please indicate that you are interested in an information session please let me know as I will otherwise assume we are scheduling a regular appointment.
How many sessions on average do clients attend and how frequently should I come?
Some clients come for only one appointment. Many attend for longer. Some clients come every week. Some clients come biweekly. And some clients I see throughout the year. It is hard to say. What I will say is that I am flexible with any arrangement. But, it is my aspiration that every session we get closer to your authentic self--a self that is adaptive and free of feeling stuck.
